The Position

Villa Marelea is in the center of an enchanting scenery. Few footsteps from the sandy beach of Ascea, whose crystalline sea, already praised by Vergil, is awarded both with the prestigious Blue Flag and with the 4 Sails, the recognition attributed by Legambiente and Italian Touring Club. From the porch placed at the entry of the hotel and leaned out on the pool/solarium it is possible to enjoy a suggestive view on the near ruins of the Archaeological Park of Elea-Velia, the city of Parmenides, the philosopher of the being, and of Zenon, the inventor of dialectics and reasoning ab absurdo, center of an important medical and philosophical school, declared by UNESCO World Patrimony of mankind and included in the list of the Great Cultural Appealers in Campania.
